A sewing project where you will learn to insert zippers and use hardware to create a sling bag- great for passports, cell phones and items that you need quick access to as you travel .

This is a drop-in session. Arrive any time during the class and pay in-person.

Other Information

All supplies included in cost of class.- hard ware zippers, a variety of fabric choices .

Bring your machine or use one in the studio.

Please note you will need to purchase the patten ahead of time and print and cut out the pattern. It can be purchased here :

Please pop in to the studio PRIOR the event to choose fabric and so that you can cut out the pattern at home. This will save you an hour of studio time.

You need to be able to sew and operate a sewing machine.- change needles, thread and wind a bobbin.

You will be using a jean needle.

Please bring a packed lunch, or support the new coffee shop next to my studio. Athabaska coffee shop.
